MODULE 0 — EXPERTISE TO ENTERPRISE

Is this actually you?
Fifteen questions. Eight minutes. A real answer.

Rate each statement 1 (not at all true for you) to 5 (completely true for you). Answer honestly rather than aspirationally — the value of this is in what it tells you, not in scoring well.

R READY — Cognitive and strategic preparedness

Do you know precisely what you're building toward?

Ready is not confidence. It's clarity about what the next stage demands, and whether your expertise is packaged into something a client can say yes to.

1. Can you describe precisely what your next professional stage looks like — not in general terms, but specifically?

2. Do you understand what skills, assets, and relationships you currently lack for that next stage?

3. Have you assessed the realistic obstacles between here and there — not just the inspiring version of the journey?

4. Are you approaching this transition from a place of strategic clarity rather than primarily from pain, fear, or restlessness?

5. Have you done meaningful thinking about this — not just informal musing — and arrived at positions you're prepared to act on?

A AVAILABLE — Structural and temporal space

Have you actually made room for this, or just intended to?

Available is the infrastructure gap between wanting to convert and being able to — no booking mechanism, no protected time, no clear entry point.

6. Do you have at least five hours per week that you can protect for strategic development work — currently, not eventually?

7. Does your calendar reflect your stated priorities, or does your most important work get the leftover time?

8. Have you identified at least one significant commitment you're prepared to reduce or release?

9. Are you waiting for a future moment — a sabbatical, a resignation, a quieter period — to begin this work? (Rate 5 if this is NOT you — i.e. you're not waiting.)

10. Does your environment — physical, digital, relational — support the kind of focused, strategic work this transition requires?

W WILLING — Genuine commitment to the actual work

Are you willing to do the unglamorous part, not just the exciting part?

The most overestimated condition. Most people are willing to think and plan. Fewer are willing to be publicly imperfect and sustain effort before results are visible.

11. Are you prepared to invest in the architecture of your next chapter before the results of that investment are visible?

12. Are you willing to be publicly imperfect — to share work, ideas, and positioning before you feel fully ready?

13. Are you prepared to have uncomfortable conversations — with yourself and others — about what needs to change?

14. Are you willing to move more slowly than you would like during the foundation-building phase?

15. Can you sustain consistent effort across a 90-day period without significant external accountability structures?
